I like your thinking. Where might we go? Yes we were hosed. They cut our 45 minute set short, yet allowed the last band to play for an hour and a half. After or set, they said we had the loudest DB meter yet, until the FOMA, last band registered a couple decimal points higher. we asked the door man right around the last song of FOMA how we were doing in attendence, he said we were slightly ahead. Then when they went to the back to tally everything, they came back and said this was the closest of all other dates and came down to attendence. Then they announce FOMA the winner. We were just told 10 minutes earlier by the doorman that we were ahead in attendence( we had 193ppl). What gives??? Fucking lame!!! Another BS battle of the bands, yet Random Friend Generator, Chris Thomas band( who also works at Hermans), who's band has only been together for a little over a month is in the finals???? Thats not right, we would wipe that band all across the stage.
Anyway, were done with Battle of the Bands, Lead Alliance Media Group and Hermans. The next time they want us for a show, it's going to be a $1000 minimum. We would love to do a show with you guys, if you can get something together in a short period of time let us know. We would be down. Okay, guys take care and look forward to hearing from you soon. I think it's cuz it's just not the same and it breaks my heart. I promise I will make more effort... the old crew doesn't all hang out together as much anymore at all. Amanda's getting married, Tim and Lindsey broke up, Karly never leaves Parker, Preston is too busy with Beta and who knows what the fuck everyone else is up to. Keep me posted of upcoming gigs and I swear I'll be there.
