Aloha everyone!
Miss Catwings here from the808wonderland! I have a new seasonal event coming up called SWAP and BOP. Forget donating to big name organizations that get too much clothes and funding! They end up funneling the extra to other smaller needy charities anyway. S&B is donating directly to those in need. S&B is a grassroots fundraiser designed to create a sense of community and have fun at the same time!
SWAP and BOP is a Clothing Drive and Swap Party! When the SIREN sounds you must swap clothes! DJs, SIRENS, clothes flying and spirits. What more could you ask for? Oh, and the money and clothes go to charity! Yay!

MORE ABOUT H-5 and NEXT STEP (see photos for more)
H-5 is a grassroots organization dedicated to ending homelessness through innovative approaches that build confidence and accountability while empowering individuals to become self sufficient. We are devoted to developing an array of services in pursuit of this goal, one step at a time.
• Next Step Project
The first homeless shelter created by Governor Linda Lingle, the Next Step Project was launched in response to the after-dark closure of Ala Moana Beach Park in May, 2006. This project is entering into its third year as a major provider of shelter in urban Honolulu. With the help of community organizations, volunteer groups and individuals, the homeless are given access to a wide variety of social services. In collaboration with Waikiki Health Center’s Care-A-Van Program, Next Step has served over 900 people in its short time at Kaka’ako.
