About me:
Long the legendary Texas home of garage rock, Sweatbox Studio is branching out into every other kind of music. Consistently ranked in the top six of over 200 studios in Austin, Sweatbox has thirteen years experience making bands very happy. After burning down (twice!) in 2006 we are open again in a much better space. Our eastside location has 16' ceilings, a huge control room, and same atmosphere that made the original Sweatbox such a cool place to record. Our producers include Mike Vasquez, Bryan Nelson, Tim Kerr, Mike Mariconda, Jason Morales, and Cody Richardson. We've recorded your favorite bands from all over the world including seventeen Japanese releases and three Australian releases. Lots of bands record as they pass through on tour. We now have a 2" 24 track analog tape machine as well as a 1" sixteen track. We will have Pro Tools HD within weeks.
