I'm LIz.
My life has been focused on becoming an artist.
My mom began to teach me art when i was old enough to hold a crayon and comprehend the idea of staying in the lines. Throughout the years, she continued to teach me. I became recognized as a good drawer first in third grade, where I drew orca whales from my obsession with the movie "Free Willy." I was later recognized more in seventh grade where I would draw these American flag sports guys and almost everyone in my class wanted one!

Once In High School it really became apparent to me that art was one of the only things I was good enough at to continue as a career. I Drew some anime but every time I was made fun of for it, every one would say "All you draw is that anime Shit!" so I shoved realism in their face saying "I can draw realism just as well." I Hated being made fun of. I was kind of the odd one of my class, doing and liking things different from whatever the common thing was.
So I began to draw more realism seriously and not show my own style of cartooning hidden and only do it for doodles.

My art didn't develop into a more sophisticated style untill I began drawing the EMC Monkeys. I wanted my work to be really good, so that I may be recognized by them and so far my goals have come true. The work that I have done of them has been some of the best I've done even though there are still many errors and often out of proportion.
I hope to get real into art now that summer has come. I'll be taking an Introduction to Illustration at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) for eight weeks, then back to Century to finish my Global Studies Certificate. In the late future, I've been set on transferring to an art college in California. Then after I graduate, I hope to get a job as an illustrator or something of that liking.

I've always wanted to be a good person, well who hasn't? I've made it an effort to be true to my friends and others who have helped me. I've been through a lot where that kindness had not been shown upon me but I take those experiences, learn from them, and make sure that I wont ever do that to people I care about.

I am all about respect, especially self respect, which is why I'm very ANTI DRUG. Even the more common and "harmless" drugs like Cigarettes, Alcohol, and pot. People argue with me all the time that those aren't drugs. Fucking Idiots, is all I can think of. I'm also argued with that they aren't so bad, where I just sigh. Mostly cause I have no right to say what poison someone chooses to dull their body. I Hate Drugs.Why should I have to argue against it anyway?
Why should I have to stick up for myself when saying I'm never going to drink!? Why are things like this so accepted in society? It pisses me off, and ruins peoples lives, and it hurts me to watch it happen.
