The competition for Sweden Rock Festival tickets is now over and the winners are notified!
THE
NORDIC CHALLENGE 2009
As
we decided to end the voting due to alot of fake votes and cheating, we instead
decided to let a jury from Sweden Rock Festival and MySpace Nordic choose
the winner from each region.
The winners will get to play in the Gibson Tent at Sweden Rock Festival on
june 5th 2009 + that they will get a promotion package from MySpace and the
following bands will play Sweden Rock Festival 2009:
CHAINS - Sweden,
POWDERHOG -
Denmark, AMBERIAN
DAWN - Finland, AXIDENT
AVENUE - Norway, BLACK
TOOTH - International
We have also decided to let another band get a wild card to play the festival
and that wild card goes to LUJURIA
- Spain.
The
winning bands will be contacted by Sweden Rock shortly. Congratulations!

Welcome to the MySpace page of the best festival in the world.
The Festival started 1992 in a small town in Sweden called Olofström, and has
since then grown bigger and bigger.
This (2007) we had 29000 people that
attended the festival.
Nowadays the festival is located in Norje (Sölvesborg) in the southern parts
of Sweden and is now one of the most important festivals in Europe
and the biggest one in Sweden.
The festival 2009 will start at June 3 and last until June 6. 4 days of
hard rock and heavy metal. Pure magic!
