Swedish Shortsnouts: General Info

Band Members	Anna and Erik, a sister and a brother from Sweden. Anna sings and writes a lot of the texts, and Erik sings and does almost all of the music with garageband but also a bit with real instruments.
Influences	Harry and the Potters, of course, and also Draco and the Malfoys and The Whomping Willows. Most importantly, though, Jo herself.
Sounds Like	Wizard Rock, hopefully. :)

About Swedish Shortsnouts

Hi! We're a brother and a sister who decided that Wizard Rock seemed like a fun thing to get into. Since we're from Sweden, our name was an obvious choice (although we wern't actually the first Swedish band but we didn't know of any other Swedish bands when we started). There are lots of us Swedish wrockers now and we think that's fantastic. Keep on wrocking and Rowling, everyone! :)

The Swedish Shortsnouts is a fun project to us, but ~~we've not yet planned to do any shows. That would be fun, though, if we could find a suitable audience and an opportunity around here. We'll see. :)~~

Edit: now we do have a show coming up soon, at Erised 2008! Check out the blog post and take a listen to the new song we'll be playing there!

Edit 2: Well, we have now played at Erised! It was an awesome experience! Below is a video of one of the songs we played there. We plan on uploading some more of our songs and the songs of any of the other bands who asks us to do so, since we filmed the whole thing. Some bands have already asked us so you can look forward to that!

Edit 3: These edits are getting a bit old, but we've now had two more shows and are scheduled to play at Expecto Patronum 2009 this summer. Wrock is pretty big in Sweden now!
