Formed in 2006. Sweet Dirt is an Alternative Rock band promoting a message of consciousness, truth, gratitude, self expression and humility. Sweet Dirt strives firstly to have a damn good time while simultaneously delivering killer music both live and in the recording studio. Currently they are working on their first album and perfoming live shows regularly in and around Nevada County, CA. Their aim is to inspire all who listen to shed fear and the illusion of constraint. At their live shows audiences are enfolded in an outpouring of heartfelt lyrics and powerful melodies written by Sage Komisar (lead vocals/guitar). The band is notorious for leaving their audiences both stunned and completely invigorated by the honesty and vulnerability in the songs they play. Cradling her compositions in a harmonious bath of talent is drummer/percussionist, Ivan Scheumack (formerly in the bands Glimpse and Mother Wheel) and bass player, Tree (former bass player for Saul Rayos).
