About me:
Sweeter Theater is a nonprofit theater group, founded by young women to promote emerging female talent in the world of live theater. We are committed to mounting continued productions of ever-increasing quality, expanding the boundaries of what can happen on a stage, provoking thought and discussion, and pushing the talents of women in theater.
STP is very happy to announce our EXTENDED RUN of Sympathetic Division by Gia Marotta in the Midtown International Theatre Festival!!! It will be performed at the Dorothy Strelsin Theater at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, July 28th, 29th, August 2nd and 3rd.
Sweeter Theater opened its 2007 founding season at the Neighborhood Playhouse with Wendy MacLeod's The House of Yes and previously produced Sympathetic Division in May, 2008.
