Eles são jovens, tocam um rock'n'roll honesto e querem, pelo menos, estar em um mixtape legal que as pessoas possam ouvir e gostar. Só que esta não é uma sinopse de filme da Sessão da Tarde. É basicamente o que representa em poucas palavras o espírito desta banda chamada Sweet Fanny Adams. Ou traduzindo... "Nothing at all", ou "Absolutamente nada". Como se um nome legal como esses precisasse de alguma tradução ou significado profundo.
Mas é com um espírito de fazer rock divertido e dançante sem precisar ser engraçadinho que a Sweet Fanny Adams de Diego Araújo, Leo Gesteira, Hélder Bezerra e Rafael Borges tem conseguido envolver o público e conquistar mais fãs em shows ao vivo. Até porque é ao vivo que eles mostram porque não estão para brincadeira quando o assunto é fazer as pessoas saírem do lugar. Seja pulando, dançando ou simplesmente batendo o pé para acompanhar os riffs e refrões. Por isso é que não foi à toa que conseguiram em pouco tempo de banda tocar em festivais pelo país como o Bananada (GO), Calango (MT), MADA (RN), BoomBahia (BA), Se Rasgum no Rock (PA), Festival de Inverno de Garanhuns (PE), Mundo (PB), Nordeste Independente (PE) e Abril Pro Rock (PE).
Mas nem é preciso ir tão longe ou esperar até o próximo show para constatar isso. Basta ouvir as músicas deles, que até o presente momento estão reunidas e registradas em dois EPs lançados pelo Bazuka Discos (PE), em parceria com o Midsummer Madness (RJ) e, espalhadas pela Internet. O segundo EP da banda, chamado de "Fanny, you're no fun", contém quatro hits instantâneos ao ouvido. Pode ouvir sem receio que é diversão garantida sem perder a esperança no que há de bom nesse velho mundo do novo rock.

They are young, they play an honest rock’n’roll and they want, at least, to be in a cool mixtape that people might like to hear. But this is not a made-for-TV movie synopsis. It basically represents in a few words the spirit of this band called Sweet Fanny Adams – meaning “nothing at all”. As if such a band needed a name with a deep meaning.
It is the will of making a dancing rock, full of fun - without having to be "funny" - that moves Sweet Fanny Adams. Formed by Diego Araújo, Leo Gesteira, Hélder Bezerra and Rafael Borges, the band has been able to sweep the audience off its feet, winning more fans at each live performance. It is on the stage that they show us they are not kidding when it comes to making people move their bodies: dancing, jumping or simply tapping the feet to the sound of the riffs and chorus. That’s why it wasn’t by pure chance that they were invited to play, despite the short history of the band, in many important independent rock festivals throughout Brazil.
You don’t need to go very far or wait until the next gig to check them out. You just need to hear their songs, which are now recorded in two EPs launched by indie record labels Bazuka Discos and Midsummer Madness. The band’s second EP, called “Fanny, You’re No Fun”, has four instantaneous hits.
