Sweet F.A. signed their first record deal with MCA Records in 1989 releasing the debut album, Stick To your Guns. The band toured for several months and performed shows with bands such as Slaughter, Circus Of Power, Winger, Tuff, Foghat, and Reo Speedwagon just to name a few. The band also released the MTV music video for the song, Rhythm Of Action from that album.
In late 1990 Sweet F.A. left MCA Records to immediately sign their second recording contract with Virgin Records subsidiary label, Charisma Records and released their second worldwide release, Temptation. After touring and seeing the change in the music industry the band decided to pursue individual endeavors. After a several years on hiatus, the band with all original members released their third CD on Upward Records entitled, The Lost Tapes. A very straight forward and energetic bluesy hard rock record. This release is an actual compilation of songs recorded intended for release but never were back in the early days. Truly a must have if you like honest rock music.
Sweet F.A. performed two reunion shows in late 2007. They wanted to perform the music to the fans one more time and had a great time doing so.
Now, 2009 has come with new music to be released in the near future, a partial new lineup, and a determination to serve the fans more good time kick ass Rock N' Roll!
The band looks forward to seeing you all real soon. Stay posted for future shows.
Thank you to all the people that love the music, we do it for you!
