My kids are getting older and I want to do things with them that I have been putting off. I want to take a dance class with them. I want to get my son into theater more because he's so awesome. Selling on EBay, stained glass, music, framing, learning new things, psychic talking about psychic experiences, tarot reading, healing through light touch, networking -- putting people with resources or others that can be helpful, all about helping people find what they love to do, helping fix injustices or helping people to become more aware.......
Oh, don't know why I never mentioned it before but I do love video games. Don't play them as often as I would like but I love em. My first system was the super ninetendo which I still have. I love the super mario brothers on the dslite.
Music
I really like all kinds of music. Right now I'm really digging music from the guts. James Morrison, Rascal Flatts, Kristen Hall,India Arie, Celtic Woman, Anuna, Josh Groban and The Mediaeval Babes. Queen Latifah Jazz album, Astrud Gilberto, Kathleen Battles Holiday Album, Dixie Chicks, Nora Jones, Carol King, Motown....loved Motown growing up....love it! Sweet Honey in the Rock, Indigo Girls, George Winston, Joan Osborne....the list goes on and on. I like rock with a real funk beat to it.
Movies
Natcho Libre, Juno, SICKO, Pursuit of Happyness, Some oldies I love Finding Forester, Butterfly Effect, Duets, Best in Show, Sixth Sense, Man on Fire, Waking Ned Devine, The Elf, Contact, Napoleon Dynamite, Cold Mountain, Supersize Me, Farenheit 911, Dark Days...I'm a geek, I love documentaries...I can't help it I just do. I'm very interested in the study of people and why they are the way the are. I enjoy seeing different realities that people live....
Television
So You Think You Can Dance,Moment of Truth, Dancing with the Stars, Rescue Mediums, Samantha WHO? with Christina Applegate FUNNY!,Survivor, LOST, 30 days awesome show, The Alaska Experiment
Books
Unattended Sorrow: Recovering from Loss and Reviving the Heart by Stephen Levine, Essential Reiki and a couple other books on Tarot. I mostly read non-fiction books....spirituality, alternative medicine, psychic development, healing, fix it yourself books (when something breaks).
Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer. It's futuristic story about what would happen if an asteroid hit the moon and how it would affect our environment. Great story of survival. Great details!
Through reading to my kids I've found lots of cool stories written for juvenile and teens. My favorite authors in this group are Margaret Peterson Haddix, Lois Lowery, Joan Lowery Nixon and Avi. I love historical fiction.
Heroes
Anyone that helped with 9/11 in any capacity dead or alive....and those who cared for the rescuers. Single moms and dads who struggle everyday and still get up and try to do their best to provide for their babies. Those that support single parent families. Those that embrace those in need without judgment. Those that understand the classism that we have in this country and aren't afraid to speak about it. Those that "have" and that aren't afraid to see the discrepancies and speak about it or embrace those in need. Those that recognize their role as healers to the world and are able to embrace the task with excitement and blind faith at times. Those that can easily forgive.....something I NEED to work on.

Teresa house foreclosed and in search of a safe, healthy, positive, quiet home in a school district that allows my son to flourish academically, emotionally and artist view more
About me: I consider myself to be a renaissance woman. I love learning about many things and can do many things well...which can be a curse at times. I always thought that it would be easy to know what I was going to do for a living because I thought there would be just that ONE thing that stood out that I was good at....assuming I would only be good at one thing. In high school, I wanted to be a pro volleyball player, volleyball coach, chemical engineer...or some kind of scientist, a nun, singer, model, actor...there must be more. In grade school I only wanted to be an artist, a movie star and a dancer. A Lily Tomlin quotes comes to mind...."I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific".
I am a single mother which is no small feat especially with a learning disabled child. I have researched many things in my life on my own, early childhood development, learning disabilities, neurology, alternative medicine, different healing modalities; aroma, color, meridians, herbs, nutrition (studied this with my dad since early teens), reiki, acupressure, tinctures, some homeopathy and have study a lot of conventional medicine so I can tell the doctors what I need done for my children. I don't have my own health insurance so I am counting on my knowledge, my friends that are docs, my acupuncturist, chiropractor ex and grace to keep me healthy. I am a self taught musician (guitar, piano and have dabbled a bit on drums and REALLY wanna have drums someday). I took only two quarters of keyboard in college and have taught myself way more than I learned in class, at least it sounds better than Lavender Blue or The Old Grey Mare. I learned to play the guitar and piano mainly so I could have something to sing with because I knew my best friend wasn't going to be around forever to play the piano for me to sing. I am grateful for the slices of heaven my music has brought to my life. I hope one day to be able to focus on it again to satisfy my need to be creative in this way....to feed my soul and those who share this passion. I am a healer through music, words and touch. I have struggled as of late with what to do with my music and feel that I don't need to struggle. What I do need to struggle with is to get my son the education he deserves. If my music is ever meant to be more than it already has been, it will be. One day I want to be in a group where people are not afraid to bare their souls through song.
Teresa, you are a wonderful and loving mother. Your son is blessed (no doubt he chose you) and your comment touched me at my core. I send you Love, Pink Protective Light to you and your family <3
Hi dear, I've been thinking a lot about you and Rick. I've sort of lost myself in life recently. Always check myspace but don't really get on here too much. School, work, and motherhood have pretty much taken over and I'm stretched to my limits on sanity. :( It'll get better...I know...
Happy New Years!!! It is my wish for you to reach all of your dreams and desires to become the person you want to be, and have all that you want and need to be happy and fulfill your purpose.
hope your days are filled with Love and you see the light above. Then share your love with all who open their minds and hearts to Divine light. Written by Gail
