The band actually started back in Dec 1999 under our previous name which was Sexual Chocolate and the White Boys. We released a few CD's under the old moniker, SCWB. The first one was self titled and released back in 2003. Kash, Mark, and Steve were in the lineup when the previous CD, Pure Poison was released in 2006. Time passed. Before and after that, members came and went. In April of 2007 Backing vocalist, Andrea Bennet joined up. Jeff Perry joined the band as our new guitar player in July 2007 and we have been rolling with that lineup under the name Sexual Chocolate and the White Boys. Now that it is May 2008, we decided that it was time to reinvent ourselves with a new band name which fit us better. The name of the new band is Sweet Gravitii. The name originated from one of our original songs which is likely to appear on the next album. We uploaded a sketchy version of the song on myspace so you could hear where the name came from. We still pack an R&B punch and are writing original material that we feel is our best writing yet, and playing shows, and cover gigs in and around the Twin Cities. Thanks for stopping by!

Going pretty well -- already been here 18 months, doesn't seem possible! I've posted some of my stories on my website -- shoot me your email again and I'll send you the link and some pix of my boy with his bass! He won outstanding music performance student of the year this year and got a huge faculty scholarship for next year already. Looks like I'm stuck with a musician! :-)
