I am more content with my life than I have been at any other time.



Everything I'm doing I feel positive about and I really feel like I'm doing something and heading in the right direction. After a particularly lost year after high school, I feel especially focused and driven.

I got married at 19, which was an incredibly scary step. I moved away from home for the first time and met the challenge head on. I live in a different state than anyone in my family and for awhile that scared me, but now I realize I can do it on my own and I don't need them for everything. It's a comfort knowing they're there, but I no longer need to be able to see their hands reaching to catch me if I fall-- it's enough just knowing of their presence.

I'm a military spouse and am incredibly proud of my husband. He was in Afghanistan for four months this past spring and I believe we've grown closer from the separation; we are on the brink of another separation, and I look forward to seeing how much closer we can grow emotionally. He is a good man with a wonderful work ethic and a pure heart. He wants to please everyone so much, and would take the shirt off his back to help you. I found a good one.

I love the rain, especially thunderstorms. I'm a night owl, and enjoy my alone time at night. I get lost in good books, I get heated discussing politics, I get teary eyed at romantic movies, I become giddy watching musicals, I delight in playing with my puppy Oliver, I cry over Mother's Day cards, I get a kick out of irritating my husband... and I love my life.
