The folks at Wiretap had some very kind words for us. Thanks, Wiretap!
August update! We recorded an EP at Tiny Telephone with the magical gentle giant Aaron Prellwitz. We think we were a little more candy-assed than he was accustomed to, twiddling knobs as he has done for the likes of Caesura and our friends Fierce Antler (Hi Wendy! Hi Kurt!), but he cracked his knuckles, stirred up the elbow grease, and somehow made us sound all-goddamn. Well, we think so, anyhow. Some yet-to-be-mastered songs from our upcoming release are here.

i miss you omar, wish i was in your band!
Dude... I love your power pop! If it rocks, it never gets old. You know what I'm saying? And by the way... it really pisses me off when people stand 12 feet away from the stage. Seems that everybody is too cool to get into the music at that Rickshaw place. My second time there and wasn't any better than my first. Sound was pretty bad too. There should be no feedback when bands play in places like that... as also there is no reason to mic everything like they did. Finally, I just want to say that Antonia's drumming rocks!
Until the next time.
Sweetie is more than a band, it's taking the world by storm. Or at least the Rickshaw. Sorry I am missing it, I cough my lungs out while Sweetie makes the crowd go wild!!
