Sweetmeat and the Silverfish have added a version of “Shenandoah”, an American folk song, dating to the early 19th century. The song was recorded as part of the soundtrack for a 54-minute film, "Shenandoah: Voices of the River" co-produced by Barnyard Productions and Thaxton Studios, both of Clarke County Virginia. The documentary looks at the history and beauty of the river as well as environmental issues that threaten the river. We hope you enjoy this rendition!
Brothers, Vic and Ben Ferrantella along with their cousin Mike Stefanski and lifelong friend, Chris Beamish, have released their 12-song debut album! The CD was recorded at Nantucket Music Production's Garden Rock Recording Studio
on Nantucket Island.
Mike and Vic write the groups original songs and the band is quickly becoming one of the most exciting new rock bands to surface in the Nantucket music scene.
A special thank you to everyone who helped us make it happen including our family friend and talented musician, George Gardos, who played bass on several songs. Thanks to Deacon Lindley for his amazing lead guitar solo with Paul Cabral’s soulful saxophone on “Can’t Start”.
Thank you to Sean Kalman for his support and great photos and to Geddes Paulsen for his creative cover design and unique artwork!
The album, recorded at Garden Rock Studios on Nantucket Island, was co-produced and engineered by Victor and Nick Ferrantella for Nantucket Music Productions.

During my show yesterday, I cued up my two favorite tracks - DO YOU KNOW ME (during hour 1 of my show, I feature slower-tempo'd trax) and HOOK ME UP (hour 2, I crank up the tempo and the volume!).
