Sweetmeat is a combination of musical talent from Austin bands, Opposite Day and the Invincible Czars. Sweetmeat gives a powerful, sensual vocal performance, with voluptuous harmonies; Smooth Songs with feisty lyrics about psychotic love and seductive clothing. Genre-jumping tunes, guitarmonies and a sultry stage performance. Fresh, big sound. Most of the music originated in the mind of Gina Holton, and grew faster and stronger with the musical skills of Sam Arnold (Opposite Day). Other tunes were written on the spot. Either way, Sweetmeat is the musical love child of Sam and Gina. Tommy, Josh, Leila and Greg are the child's auntie and uncles. Sweetmeat lives in Austin.
