Television
Since SweetPea & Violets Aromatherapy Boutique is a business - no television... well maybe Discovery Channel documentaries on religion, history and Nostradamus. (I personally try to not watch a lot of tv, but I have to admit, I do like watching NCIS and Bones. Oh, Monk and Psych are favorites, too. They do make me laugh. I know. I suppose I could help it. I don't want to. I like to laugh. Hey, I need to laugh...)
Books
SweetPea & Violets' recommends all those marvelous books at Louise Hay's site (www.hayhouse.com): they are great, instructional, inspirational, uplifting. (Personally, my reading taste is quite eclectic... Same as movies, but a bit more. Stephen King and Dean Koontz are a tad more than suspenseful, after all.
Heroes
Okay, I've thought about it long and hard and have come to the conclusion that my children are my heroes. Without those 5 awesome, inspiring individuals in my life, I would not have been able to come as far as I have. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Oh, and special thanks to heroes-to-be Avery, Nathan and brand new baby Madeleine! You are my darlings...

About me: SweetPea and Violets began in 2006, actually, with the handcrafts, knits and crochet that I made and sold in the boutique where I worked. And, yet it feels like ages. Maybe it has been, from when I taught myself to knit when the kids were still little...
SweetPea & Violets (now SweetPea & Violets Aromatherapy Boutique - it is all about growth and change, after all) is my very first company, my first business "venture" whose home is my website:

It has taken those same couple of years to get it (the website) through all the changes, tweeks and whatever, so that it at least resembled a good facsimile of an internet store. Yet, it is mine and it is what I do. All the time, when I'm not at my regular "day-job". I've learned a lot, novice though I still may be! And, I am still learning - every day... I utilize the site (at least, it's my intention), to share those aromatherapy-based talents/skills and knowledge I've garnered over time with any and all who would have need of it.
At SweetPea & Violets Aromatherapy Boutique you'll find aromatherapy oils and incense, candles and accessories that may be purchased for any healing necessities.
