I like a wide variety of music, 'cept country. Well, I take that back. I like "old" country. Conway Twitty, Barbara Mandrell, Merle Haggard, George Jones, Hank Jr., you know...70's & 80's country. But I don't like this new stuff. Must be gettin' old. For the most part, I listen to the music I grew up with. What they now call, Classic Rock 70's & 80'S mostly & 50's & 60'S. Woulda loved to have been a Flower Child. Guess I was just born a little too late :(
I need to step away from the tie-dye. I smell too good to be a hippie and my dad is probably a cop. Being a hippie is not a fashion craze, man. It was a way of life, in the 60’s, man.
I've managed a video store for the past 10 yrs. I've seen tons of movies. I like Comedy, Horror, & Drama the most. I like things that are or could be real. I don't like action or sci-fi at all. I'm too literal of a person to enjoy these types. The most far-fetched movies I've watched and actually enjoyed were The Lord Of The Rings movies.

What Not To Wear, Miami Ink, Hell's Kitchen, Myth Busters, How It's Made, & Cops are about the only things we really watch on TV...WHEN I watch TV...Oh and George Lopez...SCHAAAOOH Ever seen The Sunday Night Sex Show? That is some funny shit there...lol

Heroes
One of my heroes is my mom. She is one of the strongest women I know. She raised my brother & me all by herself, went to college to finish up her degree & worked full time. What an amazing woman. I never appreciated what she did for me until I grew up and had kids of my own. Now it makes me sad to think of the things I said to her or wouldn't do for her because I was "too busy". And her "me time" thing??? I never understood that one...until now! At 9:30 pm, she would tell us to go to our rooms...she needed her, 'me time'! I thought, "Why doesn't she wanna spend time with me? We have so much fun when we're together!" And now I understand! There's only so much "fun" that can be had in a day. The remaining 2.3 hours of the day should be filled with SILENCE!!! So I just wanted to say, on behalf of all spoiled rotten children, Thanks Mom!!! For everything you did! Everything you sacrificed for me! You're the greatest!

My other hero is my brother. I'm 5 years older than him. I hated him from the day he was born. He took my mommy away from me. (pout) We used to fight like cats & dogs growing up. I guess most people did. But then I moved away and we lost contact with each other for a few years. He went through a bunch of shit and so did I. Then one day when I needed him, he needed me too. He moved in with me for a few months and he became my best friend. I was AGAIN going thru some shit and he was there to help me out. Now he lives in Florida and I miss him EVERDAY! He is funny as hell, a terrific dad, and the best damn friend you could ever ask for. The most non-judgemental person I have ever known. Damn I miss you lil' bro'. I've threatened to kidnap him and his family and bring them up here with me. Hopefully some day we can all live close together and let our kids grow up around each other. (sniff)
