I was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the Northern Virginia area. At the age of 15 I picked up the electric bass
and became involved in the Washington, D.C. music scene. Later, while attending the University of Miami, I also picked up the upright
bass and performed with numerous jazz luminaries such as Ira Sullivan, and Duffy Jackson to name a few. Also at the University of Miami, I was able to study composition & jazz composition with legendary composer Ron Miller.
After graduating UM, I moved to Los Angeles where I continued my
composition studies at Cal State Northridge with Daniel Kessner, and the UCLA extension program in Film Scoring, where I studied with veteran film composers such as: Robert Drasnin, Craig Stuart Garfinkle, Lee Sanders, and Thom Sharpe.
Recent projects include: writing material for the "Way Contagious Tunes" music library, and co-composing music for "Peace of History" a film by Jeremy Gantz.
In addition, I am an assistant for composer Megan Cavallari, and have done arrangements and orchestrations for "Me Eloise" (Film Roman, Starz Network), and the upcoming Barbie animated feature "The Island Princess" (Mattel).
