SWFPI conducts active UFO field investigations. Utilizing all standard that MUFON provides to its card carrying field investigator. What do we mean by active field investigation. We, as the above photos show we use an array of advanced equipment and basic aeronautical and astronomy knowledge to set up at remote locations and be ready for anything unusual. Sometimes we will set up in locations with recent and ongoing sightings. We are based out of southwest Florida, however we do investigations throughout all of Florida, and occasionally outside of the state of Florida.

Who We Are:Our organization consists of diverse individuals with varying faiths, beliefs, and professions. Members volunteer their time to study the paranormal through use of field scientific methods expected in our field of research. Evidence we gather is used to educate the public about haunted locations, spirits, natural phenomenon and the history discovered about properties. We do not perform exorcisms or cleanse properties of ghosts, demons, or spirits. We simply observe and record the phenomenon. Many paranormal phenomena’s are actually unexplained natural phenomenon or explainable natrual phenomenon. We use different methods in our research to study paranormal phenomena related to haunted sites. Using qualitative and quantitative data collected during an investigation allows us to test a number of different theories, as well as determine if a location is haunted. If we believe a place is haunted, we are then able to test theories under controlled conditions. Information gathered on site helps us to understand the nature of paranormal phenomena, and then relate this information publicly.The first step we take is in determining if a site is haunted. Many people experience natural occurrences they may think is paranormally related. Several of our team members are trained to locate common natural causes many people mistake for paranormal activity.
If on the preliminary investigation they are unable to locate a natural cause for the occurrence, then we will conduct further investigations to determine if the occurrences are paranormal.If we believe the location is haunted, we may continue to conduct research at the location in order to gather more information about what or why a haunting may be occurring at the property. It also enables us to study other factors related to paranormal phenomena, including environmental and atmospheric conditions that are believed to increase paranormal activity and/or natural phenomenon. All investigations involve historical research of the location to cover any possible factors of the specific case.We use information gathered to help the public answer some of the questions they may have about paranormal phenomena.
Many of our team members have had paranormal experiences themselves, and the questions that have come from those experiences have led them to search for answers related to what caused their experience. Some of our team members are skeptical and have different theories on paranormal events. We work together to find the answers to our questions with the most objective and thorough process possible in this field of study.If you have a question, feel free to e-mail us.
