I have the honour of singing with two of my brothers Joey and Stan in what we call Heal The Last Stand. Respect is also due to Thom (no relation).
And of course there’s Team Lynne; resident DJs of 2manyjds and the most smashingest of tune selectors ever, ever, ever.
Influences
When I was growing up my Mum would listen to Carly Simon and Carol King, while she made a happy home for me and my six siblings. I idolised my brother Barnaby whose love of George Michael (Faith) brought a guitar into our house, which he only posed with but Joey picked up and showed me the ways. I went through a huge Beatles phase and found that George was my favorite. My good friend Andy Muir introduced me to the likes of Al Green and Pink Floyd he's also responsible for bringing Techno into my life, plus all of the madness that comes with those dark and dirty clubs, like Le Bateau. Carl Rylatt taught me how to make up chords with names I would never know. Rachel Lloyd showed me the beauty in all things and changed the way I looked at the world. Thankfully I am blessed with a great number of friends with talents and tastes that have all rubbed off on me and for this I am grateful because without them I would be nothing.
Hi friends, I know I’ve been neglecting you of late but I have been exceedigly busy. My recent adventures with Andy Hickie & the Merry Maidens have brought forth so much fruit I barely recognise myself. Get a load of my upcoming shows list, I know, impressive right? I’m so chuffed. Enjoy......................................................................................................
Don’t forget to visit Heal the Last Stand in my top friends to get an ear full of what I’ve been up to lately.........................................................................................

Brilliant! Everyone had a great time by all accounts, but what other way would it ever be! Will be in WXM end of July for Phil the Pills wedding, will seek you out for a drink xxxx
Good luck with all that goes on little monkeys - and I can't wait to view your faces as well - do shout when you've saved up some shekels and I'll try and organise a nice week for you :-)
Hello you! I've had my day off today and I've been sprucing my room, it's very nice now, mood lighting and all. I have taken all the good furniture from the rest of the chalet and it's IKEAtastic now. It's a shame the Swiss girls are more uptight than a thing that's up and tight - it's a very Catholic area - and I'm no lothario anyway otherwise I might be able to call it a bachelor pad ;-P
Ray Mears. I do miss him, although the local mountain people are highly amusing. They get very drunk and are so red they look like they're going to explode. I don't know much french but their conversations generally go "somethingsomething bastard somethingsomething whore, somethingsomething idiot". I smile a lot because of this and the word connard (idiot) gets used a lot in my presence. Swings and roundabouts ;-D
(just found out you can vote for the greenman thing more than once! thought it was a single vote one time only type deal.. i'll be on it every day now!)
HINT [Tru Thoughts/Ninja Tune] @ FUNKMODE, OLD SWAN, WREXHAM, FRIDAY 27th JUNE 2008
"Filled to the brim with genius, forward thinking awkward dance music." - Mr. Scruff
"Your Tremmuh tune is LARGE! Mashed up Sao Paolo last week then Rio too… And absolutely tore the room in half when I played it at Co-Op Easter Spesh a few weeks back. Instant rewind. Big!" - Benji B (1xtra)
“…pushing the boundaries once again…Hint is one of the most creative and perhaps unsung producers around. Check this boy out!” - Straight No Chaser (magazine)
"At The Dance is a corker!" - DJ Andy Smith (Portishead / Dynamo Productions)
Are you going to university? Will hopefully be up in wxm soon to see everyone, did have a flying visit for a wedding a few weeks ago, went to Yates. You can imagine how good that was. Have a wicked time wowing Glasto! Love to all xxxxxxx
actually it's been a relief. sad and all that but feel like a huge amount of stress has just lifted off my shoulders. probably a sign it was a good thing to end it. i'm sure there's a poem in this somewhere...
The Lost Thing is a story about a boy who discovers a bizarre-looking creature while out collecting bottle-tops at a beach. Having guessed that it is lost, he tries to find out who owns it or where it belongs, but the problem is met with indifference by everyone else, who barely notice it’s presence. Each is unhelpful in their own way; strangers, friends, parents are all unwilling to entertain this uninvited interruption to day-to-day life. In spite of his better judgement, the boy feels sorry for this hapless creature, and attempts to find out where it belongs.
The job hasn't properly started yet, so I've just been loafing about, learning where the trails are, practising drunken French, cooking harsh and occasionally tasty food.
As for trips over, head over whenever you like, just give me a couple of week's notice to clean up the place ;-)
I get a couple of days off per week, usually around the middle but I'm sure there's plenty to occupy yourselves with round here, walking, talking and so on.
Stay safe anyway, hopefully see you on the other side :-)
