‘Swing from Paris’ is a four-piece jazz ensemble, comprising violin, two guitars and double bass. Specialising in the French Swing of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, they bring their own sound to jazz and swing classics, while evoking the sounds of the streets of Paris.
Their music is full of style, energy and an infectious swing rhythm. With years of professional performing, ‘Swing from Paris’ have experience of a wide range of events. They are perfect for anything from weddings, functions, corporate events, clubs, pubs, to markets; but they have also performed internationally, from sell-out crowds at the Brecon Jazz Festival, to the Cheltenham Jazz Festival and the New Mexico DjangoFest.
‘Swing from Paris’ features Fenner Curtis on violin, Andy Bowen on lead guitar and John Vickers on double bass.
