I have been playing from somewhere between 15-20 years. During that time I have always worked at other things, either full time career, or self employment. I was fortunate to play at the London Jazz Festival, and I had a residency at the Dorchester, Park Lane, but otherwise have done gigs here and there, mostly in guitar duos. I have no musical qualifications and apart from some private lessons am pretty much self taught. I now live in Hawaii, but expect to move back to California in 2010, and mostly record as finding gigs and compatible musicians is difficult. My CDs are widely available online from Amazon, CD Baby or iTunes, Napster etc. I have a new CD called 'Fretish' coming out in summer of 2010, which will be a departure from my usual swing recordings. Some of the playing is electric and is a mixture of bluesy, funky and latin jazz. I am always working on educational e-books, which can be purchased from my website http://www.ijazzstore.me These include books on solo jazz guitar arrangements, theory, practical application, transcriptions, licks and so on. It is always expanding, so watch this space for updates or drop me a line.
