The Swing Kids is a group of 8 high school and college students living in San Jose. We got our start back in December 2003 when we first performed as a thank you to eighth grade music teacher, Mr. Tyler. He dubbed us "The Swing Kids" and the name stuck. Five years later, we consist of Nate Maclise on saxophone, clarinet, and vocals; Laura Bischoff on saxophone, flute, and vocals; David Snider on trumpet and vocals; Suman Macfarlane on the keys; Aric Hunter on guitar and tambourine; Sarah Zoobi on bass and vocals; Kilani Louis on drums; and Stephen Marsh on trombone and vocals. Currently, we have three CDs out and are working on our fourth. We have played all over the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond! Always looking for new places to play. For booking information, please contact Steve Bischoff at booking@theswingkids.net.

Here's a fan video from our Big Band Bash show. December 2008
It has been a while! Lots of new music and the sound has changed quite a bit when we have our full line up. As for Playboy, it was a gig & they wanted some cool music. They found us thanks to a gal we know and the rest is history.
Hey guys & gals, hope you're all doing well. Wanted to let you know that we just got a new recording up! Was up all night and for the last two weeks recording, mixing and mastering and all that... Sure is a lot of work to do it on your own! haha...
Talk to you all soon! Thanks again for that Volcano Joe shirt - it's the best!!!
Hey ya'll! Hope all is well up there ;) Stop by when you get a chance. We finally uploaded some music from our debut show last night. Hope you enjoy it!
