About me: Swing State is a breath of fresh air for the artists threatened with suffocation from the countless 'rules' of society. Swing State is an open field where you can flop around in the dirt that you came from and scream like the animal you are...and it's ok. in fact, it's absolutely beautiful.
live bands, film fests, poetry nights, art showcases, and more...}
Everyone of all ages are welcome! Support the Arts!
Who I'd like to meet: artists- real artists- musicians,poets,dancers,painters,film buffs,people
that believe freedom of expression is on its last leg in this country, therefore squelching true art now usually hidden behind the plastic conformity of modern society

Two fellow musicians and myspace community members were senselessly shot last Saturday morning in Savannah, Georgia. While they are people you most likely have not met, I am sending this out because ANY contribution towards their recovery would be greatly appreciated. They had just finished playing a show downtown and were attacked after two thugs approached them first trying to sell them drugs, then asking for money. These friends of mine gave the thugs some beers as that was all they had to offer. In return, one was shot point blank in the neck, and the same bullet lodged in my other friends spine.
Hey, We are back from haiatus finally, better then ever. Theres a new Layout designed by Horizon Designs and a brand new song. Let us know what you think, it would be greatly appreciated. =] Peace and Love, Lev
