- Established in 1996, Huber (g), Hardy (b) and Mathieu (g) started to create some really sick art of music to have a silly medium for undisturbed self-realizations, canalizing their overfoaming inner hate into something constructive and having the ultimate room for drinking cold beer, having a good shmouk and philosophizing about more or less fundamental themes.
After completing the lineup with Crola (d) and Block (v) in 1998, PUNISH started to push themselves into the next sphere and the upshot culminated into their first, self titled 11-Track CD in late 2000. Severeal music educations and line-up changes later the Demo-MCD's "three songs of mental disorder" (2004) and "four songs in morbid lust" (2005) received overwhelming reviews from the whole european underground scene and many gigs followed.
Since the middle of '05 PUNISH are back as the original five piece and have done the recordings of 10 brand new and mind bursting tracks that will see the ugly face of this rotten world the 27.07.2007 under the title "DAWN OF THE MARTYR". As producer acted once more infamous Alex Krull (Atrocity / Leave's Eyes) at the bottomless dungeons of unholy Mastersound Studios in Fellbach/Germany.
Short before recordings, singer C.B. had to left the band.. but following the "way of alpha males", PUNISH have redefined his departure as a compression of existing talent and will finish their future wars as the strong and hellish quartett they used to be. PUNISH shared stage so far with international acts like BELPHEGOR, HELHEIM, ILLDISPOSED, MELECHESH, CLAUSTROFOBIA, HOUR OF PENANCE, SLECHTVALK, KATHAARSYS, THY MAJESTIE or CILICE.
