Switch Nightclub is here to mix it up with a selection of fresh alternative DJ’s playing the best Goth, punk, metal, industrial, deathrock, grunge, electro, EBM and psychobilly tunes.
Switch was created out of a genuine need for a club with a good selection of alternative music, affordable drinks, friendly alternative staff and an entry fee under $10.
We realised that most people don’t just like listening to one music style, or they have friends who are into different music then them, and they want a club that will satisfy all their music tastes.
So no one gets bored, Switch ‘switches’ between a selection of DJ’s several times a night to mix it up and keep people on the dance floor. So when the Goths have had a bit of a dance, get tired and head to the bar, the punks can take the floor.
Rather then segregating the scene down into a bunch of separate clubs, Switch aims to bring people together to socialise, have fun and be entertained.
Fabulous live acts including Burlesque, magic shows, freak shows, live bands and electronic acts.
A relaxed atmosphere where people from different alternative scenes can socialise and have fun.
THE BLACK MARKET is back with a brand new single called I HAVE A DREAM. From JAN 1ST 2010 you can download the single and view the film clip from our myspace page. We'll be releasing a single a month for the first three months of next year. Till then we're playing some pretty sweet shows in Brisbane. Hope to see you there!!!

This Saturday (21st November) L.U.S.T. is playing LIVE at Club 299 in Fortitude Valley. It would be awesome to see you there! On stage at 10:20pm, its only $10 and we're playing with Fire Driver and Breaking Orbit (NSW). It's even cheaper to get in if you say "L.U.S.T." at the door.
