Most of the Switec band members are 220V powered like my man MOTU Ultralite, Mrs Roland Fantom X7, Kid microKORG, The Technics SL1200 Sisters, and Daddy McApple.
But that's not all, human collaborations sometimes tend to happen like with this fabulous producer called Solero, his noise-partner in crime Dumo and many others. Oh and before I forget, his cats adding a tiny (blue)note from time to time on their beloved Fantom keyboard.
Born in the late 70's Switec is a dj/producer working and living in and around Brussels (B). His musical interest grew little by little discovering funk & soul ever since he was able to dig in his mum's record collection.
As the years went by he came across a whole bunch of musical genres untill one day an early electronic compilation crossed his path. Little by little he tried to analyse what it was that makes this music so deep and rich. Once he understood the very basics of this all, he got his hands on his first 'instrument' being the Roland MC303. Ever since he became the addicted 'gear freak' he still is today. In the meanwhile, on the human side of life, he met up with people sharing that same passion for music making/playing and in no time music became a way of life.
It's hard labeling his style since he is always into trying new stuff. As a dj you can expect him to spin liquid D'n'B grooves ranging from the deep atmospherics Good Looking Records has to offer to the more raw (but in a way funky) Hospital releases.
On the other hand, as a producer it's more sort of a mixture of everything he got influenced by, ranging from Funk& Disco to D'n'B, from Big Beat and Trip Hop to Jazz...as long as it has a human vibe and a touch of funk in it.
On the 29th of march elektribution 6 will feature housemeister from Berlin! Known for his records on the Bpitch control label (ellen alliens label) Boysnoize en AYCB. And for his dj sets in some of europes biggest clubs, like Tresor in Berlin, where he's a resident.
next in our line-up is spacid, one of Belgiums greatest electro djs. Known for his sets at body2body and ultra (kozzmozz). And ofcourse, mrfart and tunda will be there to warm-up/close the party.
And like that's not enough to blow your socks straight off, Phonetics & walrus (from the 54 kollaktiv), alert (from the conform dnb parties) and freekymage will be blasting the speakers in the borg room.

finally, almost one year after edition 4, elektribution is back with a steaming party!
In our main "bot" room, we'll have Deg, one of the residents from fuse club, pumping a steady stream of techno sounds through the place. But only after salvatore, mostly know from his sets at the motion room at the fuse, gets the crowd going with his vibes. And ofcourse, me and tunda will be there too, starting up the evening, and ending it too.
Meanwhile boyswithoys, with a fantastic idm/breakcore/jungle live performance; foxy lady & MC elvee, with their warm jungle tunes and super voice; and ezzy & dizzle, with a great mix of dnb, jungle and breakcore, will be blasting the walls in our "borg" room. All these goodies are topped of with a nice cocktailbar and great visuals from arties.
