What a brilliant clip!!!
At a meeting of the AARP (American Association of Retired
People) they showed a video that was submitted in a contest
by a 20 year old. The contest was Titled 'u @
50'.This video won second place. When they showed it ,
everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke into
spontaneous applause. So simple and yet so brilliant. Take a
minute and watch it. http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=42E2fAWM6rA

Hi all, is anyone going to GSA who is looking to split the cost of a hotel room for November 22nd? A friend of mine had arrangements all set up with another colleague and the plans fell through.
Let me know--thanks!

Hi everyone, I had the privelege of helping our fearless leader Jarmin Yeh out at a recent Student Leadership Training at the CSWE conference today. It was an honor to be in the presence of some of you, you truly are leaders.

Oddly enough, I came home to a very poignant, beautiful example of leadership in my inbox (a youtube link) and wanted to share it with you all... (conference attendees or not, I think you'll like this)

Politics aside, to me, Mayor Sanders is a leader. I'm wondering if anyone else sees what I see? I'd love to know your thoughts.

I think any social service agency would be willing to have a volunteer/intern. I guess it would depend on if you wanted a paid experience.

I am just starting in school and I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to get some experience in social work without having a degree?
