Swordwind was an idea born in late 2005 conceived by Gavin Holt. His accomplice in this project was Mr Tristan Griffiths on drums. Swordwind then needed some symphonic keyboards thrown into the mix! This came courtesy of Pat Scott, renowned guitarist in Skullthrash and virtuoso keyboardist on the side:-p. Dave “Clobber Fists” Webb was later added on bass guitar. All the band now needs is an extremely talented lead singer and front man in the style of Timo Kotipelto, Tony Kakko, Fabio Leone etc etc. Our aim is to write fast and “in your face” power metal with lots of cheesy symphonic elements, a kind of evil love child produced from Rhapsody Nightwish and Stratovarius! scary....
