2005 - Genesis:
Sworn arose as a one-man project by Christoffer Kjørsvik in 2005. Together with Lars Jensen from Myrkgrav as a session vocalist, he released the demo Night Supremacy. After great reviews, Chris invited Tom Ian Klungland to play drums permanently for Sworn. Gøran Hope and Leif Herland also joined the ranks at this time, aswell as the vocalist Roland Røtne.
2006 - New era:
After intense rehearsing, Sworn hit the road and played some live shows around in the Hordaland county. In september 2006, Sworn entered Conclave Media Studio to record their debut album. At this time, Roland left the band. Lars Jensen, who also did the vocals on the demo, became the vocalist in Sworn, permanently.
2007 - The Alleviation:
In March 2007, Sworn signed a record deal with Twilight Vertrieb. The debut album, entitled 'The Alleviation', was released on the 20th of july, 2007. After the release, Sworn got in contact with Torsten, the founder of The Showbiz Management, and lots of shows were planned. Among them a tour with Behemoth, Aborted and Helrunar in Germany. Due to musical issues, Lars Jensen had to leave the band at that time. Therefore, Sworn had no other choice than to find a permanent replacement for him. After a few auditions with a man called Max Wilson, there were really no doubts. This guy was the right man for the job.
2008 - Festival go'ers:
Starting with the Metal Invasion festival in Passau in November 2007, Sworn began a good festival-gig-year. The year of 2008 held alot of good gigs for Sworn in Germany, like Ragnarök, Walpurgis, Summer Breeze, Ultima Ratio and many more. During this time the bassplayer Leif left, material for the next album was written and preparations for the recording were made.
2009 - Return of the Bastards:
Early this year, Sworn had written nine killer tracks for their second album. Dag Dreggen Anderson joined as the new bass player after the departure of Leif Herland, and the new album was recorded. The result was the acclaimed album Bastards and Conquerors, which hit the stores at the 30th of october.

The drunk trolls are dead, the New Elite is born. We write in times where people are praying their God for forgiving their sins, to keep away His thorn of disease. Expect a mindblowing fast black metal masterpiece with a confronting sound of medieval infecting grief. The whole world is dying.
