Southwest Styles Photography's Interests
General
Lately, I have been photographing my 18 month old named Mia. With my Digital Canon, I am able to take a lot of interesting shots that I didn't have the opportunity to take with my other 2 kids. I try to make it a point to take a few minutes every weekend to snap Mia being herself. Nothing beats an awesome still shot.
Music
I have a very diverse taste in music:
Earth, Wind and Fire (have not missed a concert since 1999), Marvin Gaye (Distant Lover - Live Version), Al Green (Love and Hapiness), Louis Prima (Pretty much anything), Arturo Sandoval (cherokee), John Coltrane(all), Billy Joel(all), Maroon 5, D'Angelo(Where He At?), Erikah Badu, Queen, Led Zeplin, Gipsy Kings, Blackstreet, Green Day, Nickleback
Movies
Crash is currently my favorite movie in the last year or so. Million Dollar baby comes in second. As far as going to the movies, most of the crap they are releasing these days is not worth the ink that is printed on the ticket. Last time I went to the movies was to watch Harry Potter. I think it cost us about 80 bucks after the price of tickets and concessions.
"Honey, want to go to the movies?"
I think I will just wait for the dvd, thank you very much.
Television
Lost, Sopranos, and that's it.
I think I will add temporarily until the novelty wears off, "DEAL or NO DEAL".
I think "Big Love" is starting to suck me in as well.
Books
"Learn Visual Studio 2005 in 24 Hours"-
A very intriguing book if you are a Computer Science major. Microsoft and their damn learning curves. I am just about ready to quit .NET and move over to PHP or hell, even Cold Fusion. I might even consider becoming a JAVA convert. aRRGGHGHGHGH
