Sybreed History
Sybreed was formed in 2003 by vocalist Benjamin and guitarist Drop. They later recruited bassist Burn and drummer Alex. In their first year of existence, they concentrated on writing material for their debut album.
In 2004, Sybreed released their debut album Slave Design. They would spend some time performing in the US, then later returning to Europe where they toured for almost two years in support of the album.
In early 2006, drummer Alex left the band due to creative and personal issues. Sybreed would then go on a break for a few months. They would later ask Dirk Verbeuren of Soilwork and Scarve to do session drums while they recorded their next album. The band announced in December 2006 after recording Antares, that Kevin would take over drum duties permanently.
On July 7, 2007, it was announced that the band had signed a deal with Listenable Records for an October release of their new album Antares.
On June 13, 2008, Sybreed's official website announced that on August 15, 2008, they will release their newest album, Antares, in the United States with the bonus track "Plasmaterial" to be included.
Sybreed has started to record the follow-up to their previous album Antares which will be released through Listenable Records. Sybreed have announced the album title to be The Pulse of Awakening. A new digital EP entitled 3Aeon is to be released featuring two songs from the upcoming album and three electro/techno remixes of the track "Emma-0" from their previous album Antares.
On June 29, 2009, Sybreed's official website announced that the band and their bassist, Burn, will part ways. However, he will still participate in their US tour beginning on July 17, 2009.

Why thank you. I got that at what I understand was their 1st stateside tour earlier this year. And likewise, thank you very much for all the updates and intel you've provided over the past, oh...several months to years? That Pulse teaser tonight was just fantastic. If there's anything I can do for the cause, just deal me in!
Have you seen them live? Just wondering if they're an "album band" or a great live band as well. Not a knock, some of my favorite bands sound like shit live, and some of them overcome that with presence or insanity.
The few Youtube clips I've gathered have had piss-poor sound, so it was hard to tell.
No problem. They're a great band. I got a lot of people into them after I got Slave Design. Too bad they aren't more well-known in the States, or anywhere for that matter.
Like during said "doomsday party" i want to get so fucked up to the point where i'll be entwined with the music and ultimately implode from sheer elation. ._____.
hey what do u know about Deathcode Society? I really love it, there anyway u know how i can download those two songs but actually have them and not just through Quicktime? ITs fuckin awesome! haha Ben and the band remind me of a simplified Emperor and its bad ass.

The show in S.A. last night was incredible! A little short, but great nonetheless. Don't miss 'em if you can catch 'em. Very nice personable guys too. It was fun hanging with them a bit. Hit up a show & enjoy!
I have Sybreed playing in Syracuse, NY on August 17th with Threat Signal, The Autumn Offering, and The Agonist. Is there any way I can get a few Sybreed posters to distribute locally for the event? E-mail me please.
