“Sycronomica, das ist der Sound eiskalten Nebels, der sich den Abhang herunterwälzt.“ So beschrieb einst der deutsche Rock Hard das Sextett aus München. Aber die Epic-Blackmetalband ist weitaus mehr als das! Atmosphärische Klanglandschaften, epischen Bombast, höchstmelodische Symphonien gepaart mit knallhartem Riffing, ultraschnellen Blastbeat-Passagen und gnadenlosen Vocals - dafür steht der Name Sycronomica seit der Gründung 1996. Und das wurde bei zahlreichen Shows im In- und Ausland mit internationalen Größen (z.B. Amon Amarth, Six Feet Under, In Flames, Obituary, Finntroll, Enslaved, Gorgoroth etc.), bei Festivals und Open Airs (z.B. Summer Breeze Open Air, Ragnarök Festival, Summer Nights Open Air, Metal Bash etc.) oder auf Tour (z.B. Equilibrium 2004, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter 2006, Endstille/God Dethroned/Hollenthon 2009) immer wieder eindrucksvoll bewiesen. Experimentell, innovativ und erstmalig mit klassischem Operngesang präsentierten sich Sycronomica nun mit ihrem aktuellen Studioalbum „Sycroscope“. „Für Fans von Dimmu Borgir & Co. ist die Platte ein absolutes Muss!“ (Metal.de) “Sycronomica is the sound of ice-cold fog rushing down a slope.” This description was bestowed on the sextet from Munich by the German Rock Hard Magazine. But of course the epic black metal band is considerably more than that! Atmospheric sound worlds, epic grandeur, melodic and sophisticated symphonies combined with merciless riffs, high-speed blastbeat attacks and extreme vocals – this is what Sycronomica has stood for since its founding in1996. This has been demonstrated impressive at various performances with distinguished international artists (e.g. Amon Amarth, Six Feet Under, In Flames, Obituary Finntroll, Enslaved, Gorgoroth), appearances at acclaimed festivals (e.g. Summer Breeze Open Air, Ragnarök Festival, Summer Nights Open Air, Metal Bash) and on tour (e.g. with Equilibrium in 2004, “Die Apokalyptischen Reiter” in 2006 and Endstille/God Dethroned/Hollenthon in 2009).
