About me:
Here's some random facts for you: I live in Chicago and attend Columbia College for Film/Video. So that means I'm a huge film geek. If I were a superhero, my name would be the Sri Lankan Shanker. I enjoying shoveling the snow. Walking around in galoshes makes my day. I know more trivia about film than anyone, and the saddest part is I'll never be able to use it. I want to smash a guitar on stage. I play the bass and am learning how to play guitar. I suck right now, but so it goes. My love for the Smashing Pumpkins and David Bowie can never be denied. I only wish that before I die I can see both of them play somewhere, if only in my dreams. My favorite movie is Donnie Darko, and no, I'm not one of those chicks who loves it because it's "dark" and "really relates to my life." In fact, when I describe my love for that movie neither one of those sayings comes up. I think Johnny Cash's voice is sexy. The Metra scares me and I'd rather take the CTA train because it's awesome, minus the smell of urine and drunkies. I'm a DC girl, and there's no changing that. I will dabble in a little Marvel action, but the DC Universe is way better. I mean, they have Batman. Enough said. Anyone who thinks different can suck it. I like playing dress-up still. I own a Betta fish named Blue Balls and he's a bad-ass motherfucker. Like, he's the SLJ of Betta fish. I love my friends and I wouldn't trade them in for any of the things I listed above. My love is unconditional and everlasting.
