About me: Here's some random facts for you: I live in Chicago and attend Columbia College for Film/Video. So that means I'm a huge film geek. If I were a superhero, my name would be the Sri Lankan Shanker. I enjoying shoveling the snow. Walking around in galoshes makes my day. I know more trivia about film than anyone, and the saddest part is I'll never be able to use it. I want to smash a guitar on stage. I play the bass and am learning how to play guitar. I suck right now, but so it goes. My love for the Smashing Pumpkins can never be denied. I only wish that before I die I can see the original line-up play, but I have a feeling that will never happen. I think Johnny Cash's voice is sexy. The Metra scares me and I'd rather take the CTA train because it's awesome, minus the smell of urine and drunkies. I'm a DC girl, and there's no changing that. I will dabble in a little Marvel action, but the DC Universe is way better. I mean, they have Batman. Enough said. Anyone who thinks different can suck it. I like playing dress-up still. I love my friends and I wouldn't trade them in for any of the things I listed above. I have an amazing boyfriend who is in an equally amazing band and everyday we spend together is the best day of my life.

You might have shown me one song, but you weren't even a true nailhead before you met me. I've was listening to Trent while you were still shitting your Sri Lankan diapers.
YOU TOTALLY SHOULD. I'm like 40 minutes from tampa and only an our from Orlando.. I should totally check with Cole to see if that would be cool with him. You can share a bed with me ;D
I won't be starting school till the fall, it was too late to sign up for spring because we got back from Italy Dec 31st, and then too late to fill out the financial aid forms for summer I believe. I'm just getting settled in and looking for work. I have a pretty cool roommate though which makes the transition pretty easy, he plays WoW too which is trouble! but I'm pretty good now about getting off the game (for me at least =)) His name's Cole and he's a fireman, and fun to hang with aside from his obsession with Techno music (which I can somewhat tolerate since I like it a little here and there lol) At least I'm not lonely out here.
