I am MOST excited about Throwing Muses and Kristin Hersh's Paradoxical Undressing! I have been a longtime fan and I never thought I'd ever get to see TM. Kristin's excerpts from Paradoxical are absolutely amazing too - hilarious, sad, witty and totally honest.
Also can't wait to see Fanfare Ciocarlia! Some of the best musicians I've seen (on DVD that is! Now I get to see them in the flesh!).
And Camille's quirky pop is mesmerising. I'll definitely be heading to see her.
Hey there - I saw La Clique on Friday night and I was on high afterwards for HOURS - what a fabulous show. Love love loved it. Lining up for Tix To Next To Nix to hopefully score more. Also enjoyed late night at the spiegal - on ya guys! :-)
Hi Sydney Festival, Thanks for the sampler CD - it arrived through my work mail on the last day of work and I was so excited! I had *so* much fun working at Macquarie Street for opening night. Shame about the weather but what a revolutionary idea, an awesome way of starting the festival off with a bang and making it accessible to all. I hope it's a tradition that continues! :-)
