Above is our 1982 appearance on the "Funky Tomato" television show in Japan. Back then it was mostly 'lip-synching', so I thank Lloyd Thaxton for teaching me the art. This was discovered and posted by our friend, Moogie. Please visit his 'youtube' page at: http://www.youtube.com/user/sneakertokyo - Thanx Moogie!!
****I just received a copy of Brent Mann's '99 Red Balloons.....and 100 Other All-Time Great One-Hit Wonders'. A signed copy was sent to me by Brent himself after I got in touch with him because of a 'typo' regarding 'More Than Just The Two Of Us' (page 128). It's a common mistake about the lead vocal that a few others, including Joel Whitburn from 'BILLBOARD MAGAZINE', have made.
The credit for the lead vocal goes to Mitch Crane, when in fact, it's actually me. I can't blame them, Mitch at 6' ft. something looks like the guy with the 'high' voice and me at 5'2", I certainly look like the guy with the 'lower'. :O)
Seriously, we are very flattered to have been included in Brent's book, check it out, it's full of information you will be very interested in!!---------------www.brentmann.com
Thanks for the add, Michael! Finding you IS a blast from the past but I've never stopped listening to your music all these years. It remains as some of my most favorite music- thanks again!
I was looking through my comments and saw you. To me you have that great West Coast Music sound and I love your music. I was surrounded by it for many years. Stop by and comment once in a while so I don't forget you. I'd love to do a West Coast Music week. I guess that's what you remind me of.
Hi Michael. Mikey and Brody are taking a "break," as they are getting a little older. We may even take over their site if they keep being too busy to do things right! BUT, they told us all about you and how talented you are, etc! We'll try and be more consistent than they are at writing...and also kick them in the butt to write more. Hope you have a great, happy fireless day out there in Caleeeefornia (Arnold's pron.) Sky and Shane
Thanks! We've been trying for awhile and are uber excited! We're supposed to find out next month if it's a boy or a girl... but I'm pretty sure it will be one or the other. ;o) Our lil' Sarah's really excited to be a big sister!
