The Librarian is Sylvain, a thirtysomething songwriter that never made it & a librarian by trade. He used to be the frontman in ex-magnolia, an indie rock band based in Lyons, France, but has been living in Avignon for several years, recording music on his own using garageband: an old acoustic guitar, so-called “software instruments," hints of Casio keyboard, melodica & ukulele, and nothing fancier than the built-in microphone of the family iMac. As a consequence, this is lo-fi at its lofiest.
The Librarian, c'est Sylvain, trentenaire flou, auteur-compositeur-interprète extrêmement méconnu, bibliothécaire de son état. Chanteur du groupe lyonnais dissous ex-magnolia, domicilié à Avignon, enregistrant de la musique dans son coin en utilisant garageband : une vieille guitare sèche, les soi-disants "instruments logiciels", quelques touches de Casio, mélodica & ukulélé, et rien de plus sophistiqué que le micro incorporé du Mac familial.
très très très bon ce titre tout simple, et brut, voix super, que demander de plus ? ah oui je sais : j'ai vu que l'album est à télécharger pour un prix libre : le vends-tu en CD ? sous quelle forme et chez qui ?
Cool, le nouvel album ! Pour l'instant j'écoute surtout "the rightful owner" que j'aime beaucoup dans le genre retro-pop. Mes compliments pour le graphisme aussi.
Je vais sûrement faire des jaloux si je dis que moi je possède le nouvelle album en exclusivité mondial depuis quelques semaines !! Et en plus.. il est super bien !!! Au fait, bon anniversaire pour demain.. et bonnes vacances.

Hmm...people keep telling me that someone elses music is playing on my site... I can't tell cos my computer is too old to cope with the new player so I haven't heard it myself. One thing is for certain though - my new album does not contain any pornographic rap. That'd be weird :-)
