The original line-up of Collie, Paul and Adam (Imagine I had Hands) started playing together in 2000. Played mainly in Dublin for the last couple of years. Recorded Ugly Lemon EP in Electrical Audio with Steve Albini in late 2003. In 2004 Adam left to the foreign shores of Denmark and Kieron was recruited on noisemaking duties and Ferg on comedy and Bass duties. We then recorded My Marble Eye ourselves in January 2005.
Kieron is also involved in a solo-project (Bonefriendly)and plays in (Lastokes)
and Paul also plays with (Shlow and Progress Cadet)
Sylvan launched their 3rd Album entitled "We Are Lying To You Through Song" in the Lower Deck, Portobello, Dublin on the 7th September. The album is available from the band, Freebird Records, City Discs or you can get it online from popular records , Road Records or The Richter Collective
