Interests

  • General

political discussions(discussions, not fights) reading, music, meeting new people and talking to people; animals, would like to do more travel, finding and catching up with acquaintances; writing, philosophy, the deeper meaning of life
  • Music

I like a wide range of music. To me music is very emotional. I will listen to classical or rock, all depending on my mood. I like Alphaville, italien music, gypsy, tango, swing, Oomph, Boney M, ELO, Peter Schilling, Falco the occasional one wonder hit.... pretty much anything
  • Movies

Dragonworld (cheap, lowbudget movie, but very moving. After all we try to right things we sometimes do wrong) Mysteries, Mummy, True Lies, Bourne series, National Treasure, While you were sleeping
  • Television

CSI, still standing, Monk, Lou Dobbs, the occassional movie, when I have the time
  • Books

Again a wide range My favorite book is still from an german author. "Die Sorgen des Teufels" bei Dieter Mucke. Great stories. Fairytales for grown ups, with a lot of satieare and hidden meaning in between the lines. "A Terrible Revenge" written by Alfred-Maurice de Zayas Probably not everybody's read very political, but an attempt to even the score. Other than that, Richard Laymon. That is the light reading, need to relax before I turn in.
  • Heroes

Is there anybody out there? Am I hard to impress, or am I indifferent?

About me:

....

.. What is there to say about - me. It is all in the perceptions of others. I can only try to explain. I was born in former East-Germany. I grew up a very happy child, loved by her parents and was rather indifferent to the world around me. Let's face it, you young and you do not know much about life. As a teenager it is hard enough to find your nitch in life. After applying, my parents and I were allowed to leave the German Democratic Republic. We wanted to go to America, but we had to go to the West first. Stayed in Frankfurt/Main for about four month and then went to our "final destination". All I had learned growing up had to be relearned. It was a different system. It was exciting, scary and sometimes frustrating. Within a couple years I already got married, to a polish fellow. Here we were neighbors in Europe and end up with each other in this country. Lately, I have been very busy working. We are trying to build a business(in these times) and between work and familie obligations there is not much time for deeper thought. I miss it and want to reach out this way. Maybe someone else is interested to have a conversation with me. I try to use humor as a stress relief and most of the time it is working, although I can be a very depressed person. I will not make anybody responsible for my mistakes and try to have an open ear to anything.
