Welcome to the living CD that is Sylvan Acoustic. Filled with acoustic guitars, kalimbas, ethnic percussion, and flutes, Sylvan Acoustic features playful musical themes that invoke elven and faerie imagery from all over the world.
1. Silver Blue Forest – This richly textured piece features a recurring melodic line that guides itself meaningfully over a thick bed of marimba and percussion. The overall mood of this piece is one of silent, yet hopeful determination.
2. Silver Dance of the Elven Forest – The arrangement of this composition gradually thickens while the piece progresses, as new layers of subtle sonic textures are added every time the main theme is reintroduced to the listener. This work expresses the happy playfulness of a child, while at the same time stressing the importance of youthful vigor and strength.
3. Peace Mountain – Featuring a nimble melody that weaves its way through three recurring sections, this piece also features flute, kalimba, and percussion. The emotions expressed by this piece are those of peaceful motivation and natural balance.
4. Azure Forest – This simple melody is placed delicately atop a foundation of congas and marimbas along with several other percussive elements. Goodness and wellness are the main energies prevalent in the piece.
5. Happy Tree – Bristling with giddy delight, this elven melody performed on pan flute is presented several times throughout the work. This composition stresses the healing powers ever abundant within the natural realms of peaceful contemplation.
6. Silverella – This unique sylvan-inspired composition features triple-tracked Takamine acoustic guitars and Nigerian talking drums. The emotional energies of this work primarily center around aesthetic appreciation and contemplation.
7. Silverjade – Featuring a live flute, this elven theme is gradually presented with more and more subtle layers, as the piece unfolds. The progressive, forward-looking currents of this work are focused on optimistic endeavor and hope.
8. Silver Song – The primary musical theme of this spritely work is performed on two twin acoustic guitars. This piece’s emotional content could be best expressed as the appreciation for the normal everyday abundance that occurs in day-to day living.

Hi Sylvan - mightily impressed at the thematic economy of your material! Do you do any Val Doonican numbers? - now there's a great man for conceptual continuity.
