A sweet and tender ballad from her upcoming solo project, this original song penned by the production team of Michael and Jamal Orr demonstrates the range of Sylver’s emotional acoustics. Her first solo release, RIGHT THROUGH ME embodied Sylver’s penetrating a cappella tones in a comfortable place of emotional truth. “Just add water”, says producer Nile Rodgers, when discussing Sylver’s versatile talents. Her passionate style captured Rodgers and the co-creator of CHIC, the late Bernard Edwads, who would ultimately choose Sylver as the lead singer of the reunion group formed in 1991. After years of fronting gands and performing background vocals with artists such as Jean Carne, Yolanda Adams, Donna Summer, Glenn Jones, and Tony Terry, Sylver recorded chart topping singles CHIC MYSTIQUE and YOUR LOVE, and the hit track, LADY MARMALADE, released in France. The latter recording received the “les Etoiles de L’Or de la FM” at the National Radio Convention in Antibes, France. .. ..
