SYLVIO RIGARTSO has many influences as I guess every singer does..who can ever say how and why any of us are influenced, it can start even before we're old enough to remember, and carries on right thru our lives..SYLVIO's sound is quite unique...And yet there have been very distinctive influences..I will add these as time goes by..

..FOREWORD BY JEREMY..as a long time friend of Sylvio I was asked to write something that defines Him as I see it: As Sylvio's name suggest some of his forebears came from the Great singing Nations..ITALIAN AND WELSH..amongst others..this site is dedicated to songs across the Genres and Sylvio's extremely wide Vocal Range FROM DEEPEST BASS to BELCANTO TENOR allows him to sing Songs from Artists such as PAUL ROBESON to LUCIANO PAVAROTTI, MARIO LANZA, ENRICO CARUSO, as well as Tenors currently on the Great stages of the World. artists of Now and yesteryear.. with a Voice control that allows Him to bring out New Aspects of songs we have known and loved throughout the centuries, as well as contemporary songs of now and the last few decades...His Vocal quality brings magic to these songs..ONE OF SYLVIO'S FANS described SYLVIO's Voice and I Quote..."MORE TIMBRE than the combined TROPICAL RAIN FOREST" ..:-)) My experience is, if you think Sylvio's recordings are good, His live performances are nothing short of breath taking The Vocal Dynamics & Power astounding..This is so much different than a Myriad of other singers, where their live performance is so much less than The recorded version..My hope is that You will get to hear this as time goes by, And that by exposure to a wider audience Sylvio will have the recognition that This Voice should. I'm glad that he has the availability of myspace to help with the initial showcasing of His voice. I also wish Him much success as other opportunities present themselves......It will be a Pleasure as Time allows to add songs from THE VARIOUS GENRES..and to rotate the available songs as we can..Hopefully you will get to hear some in the Genre of your choice Please Take your time to Listen...and If Possible SHARE with YOUR FRIENDS..This site and all the songs contained are done with a Little help from Sylvio's friends..So Far Sylvio's Gigs have been peformed on a word of Mouth Basis within the circle of His Friends.
