Hi, my name is Søren Korsgaard. I’m an Architect MAA (cand.arch), graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art in Copenhagen in January 2008. I founded my firm SYMBIOSIS in January 2007 when I was still a student, in the pursuit of making modern sustainable architecture, which has a positive impact on human lives as well as the local and global environment.
My opinion is that architecture is not about style and taste, but more about solving problems in an artistic surprisingly way, from an analytic and programmatic approach no matter scale, in dialogue with the client, citizens and other professionals, to reach the best possible solution.
Don't be afraid to contact me if you have design issue you need to solve, nothing is too big or too small. ;D
Many thanks for the friendship! We would be honored if you read and comment the new artist interviews on our profile!
SEX AND CONSPIRACY! Swedish punkrocker and painter Karl Backman talks about his art, and the reactions to it from right wing christians, pee fetish girls and conspiracy theorists.
MYTHOLOGIES AND LIFE! French graphic designer and writer Laurent Rivelaygue discuss nightmares and a road movie in bumper cars.
GRACE AND ELEGANCE! American artist Betsy Jones talks about geometric landscapes, happiness and the arts of the geisha.
Personally, I hate parking lots --- but we have so many of them! Sitting there, doing nothing but heating up the atmosphere, so solar parking lots! Community-sustained, secure, renewable electricity! Bonus = community jobs! All over America! So I’m back at university learning GIS to analyze each town’s paved parking areas (Greensboro NC (pop 247,000) has 10.27 square miles of it that will power over 500,000 homes (every year) if covered with photovoltaics!) and I’m starting put_a_lid_on_it …………..………. Stay tuned!
Hello, <br /><br />Greener Global Solutions Inc. would like to thank all our supporters and friends. Please continue the progress, open your eyes and show your shade of green. Even if its for a day. <br /><br />Remember our new slogan, "ROCK UR GREEN" check out our Myspace page.<br /><br />And now a Green Tip for the day.<br /><br />Here's 10 Ways to Go Green at Work:<br /><br />1. Be bright about light - Make it a habit to turn off the lights when you're leaving any room for 15 minutes or more and utilize natural light when you can.<br /><br />2. Maximize computer efficiency - Make it a habit to turn off your computer—and the power strip it's plugged into—when you leave for the day. Otherwise, you're still burning energy even if you're not burning the midnight oil.<br /><br />3. Print smarter - Make it a habit to print on both sides or use the back side of old documents for faxes, scrap paper, or drafts. Avoid color printing and print in draft mode whenever feasible.<br /><br />4. Go paperless when possible - Make it a habit to think before you print: could this be read or stored online instead? When you receive unwanted catalogs, newsletters, magazines, or junk mail, request to be removed from the mailing list before you recycle the item.<br /><br />5. Ramp up your recycling - Make it a habit to recycle everything your company collects. Just about any kind of paper you would encounter in an office, including fax paper, envelopes, and junk mail, can be recycled. So can your old cell phone, PDA, or pager.<br /><br />6. Close the loop - Make it a policy to purchase office supplies and furniture made from recycled materials.<br /><br />7. Watch what (and how) you eat - Make it a habit to bring your own mug and dishware for those meals you eat at the office.<br /><br />8. Rethink your travel - Make it a habit to take the train, bus, or subway when feasible instead of a rental car when traveling on business.<br /><br />9. Reconsider your commute - Make it a habit to carpool, bike, or take transit to work, and/or telecommute when possible. If you need to drive occasionally

Hello,<br /><br />Do you love the movies? I know I do and I can bet you can name at least 5 other friends of yours that likes the movies as well. <br /><br />When you go to the movies usually you buy a ticket (For you and your partner) Soda and snacks etc. But, the most popular is POPCORN, you guessed it! Did you know that you can also "STAY GREEN" even at the theaters? Here's how.<br /><br />Here is the tip of the day for when you go to the movies: <br /><br />Share your popcorn when you're at the movies instead of buying multiple cartons or bags. -You'll save money and packaging. Today young and old consume seventeen billion quarts of popcorn each year (54 quarts per person), 30 percent of which are eaten at movie theaters, sporting events, entertainment arenas, amusement parks and other recreational centers. If half the people shared their popcorn, we could save the paper packaging for more than 2.5 billion quart-size servings.<br /><br />Well, that's your end of the week tip of the day and ready for the weekend. I will be back at the end of next week with another GREEN info.<br /><br />Have a wonderful Green Weekend. "STAY GREEN"<br /><br />See ya!<br /><br />Greener Global Solutions Inc.<br />Representative Dept.<br />Advertising L2
