The Norwegian band SYME creates pop music at the meeting point between melody and noise. Cacophonous guitar sounds, ethereal synths and a hypnotic groove prevail throughout their sound, which is always welded to a well-tuned pop melody.
The band is currently in the studio working on the eagerly awaited followup to 2005’s critically acclaimed tour de force ‘Swing Swing’ (Karisma/Tuba). With the working title ‘No Spark, No Heart’, SYME..s second album will present a focused, lighter, but always spectacular musical landscape, and will be released in Norway in 2008.

Hei! I accidentally heard you guys live once. It was August 2008 in Bergen, in the rain, at about 22:00 at night! The atmosphere was going along amazingly well with the music, and I instantly fell in love with your tunes. I hope to hear you guys again sometime :)
Takker for vennskapet, Os Rockeklubb vil snart ha konsertlokalet i kjelleren på Kuventræ i Os klart for happenings, tar 150 pers, det står backline og PA der, intimt, svett og rock n roll blir dette. Håper vi ser dere på scene i Os Rockeklubb, ps 90% av konsertene i lokalet vil være fri aldersgrense, ORK har alltid gitt muligheten for unge og etablerte band, samt publikum i alle alderstrinn. ORK er en ikke kommersiell organisasjon…
Eg va på vei for å leie film ikveld då eg hørte fine lyder fra torgallmenningen. Blei gla når eg såg det va dåkker. Det va knallbra det lille dåkkar gjorde, og fin effekt med stormen som blåste.
