Sounds LikeSong 1: A simple song, quiet intro/verse, loud chorus, verse again, chorus again, then weird shit afterwards. Can't really describe who it sounds like...

Song 2: Instrumental as of now, very long, starts off bright, slowly gets darker and heavier, very inspired by middle-eastern music. Drums in my head are weird. Think Tool's "Reflection" meets the music from the Prince of Persia series. Also two influences are probably "Take a Picture" by Filter or "One Thing" by Finger Eleven, the way they build up.

Song 3: Still a newborn. I got the inspiration from listening to Lamb of God's "Ashes of the Wake", although it's nowhere near as technical. Weird harmonic intro, weird heavy riff afterwards.

Writing is an odd process. I don't sit down intending to write, sometimes ideas just come to me.

   About Symphysis
I'm not going to say much, because there isn't much to say. This so called music project is basically the sideproject for an aspiring guitarist that isnt in any other projects. I've really only written three songs, all of which have no lyrics, but have new ideas attached to them every time I play them. One of them is a dark, Deftones-Tool-Kornesque ditty that is recorded, albeit very roughly and with screw-ups, one of the screw-ups giving me a small idea in the song. The other is slowly turning into an 11 minute instrumental with a Middle Eastern metal twist. The third is influenced by heavier acts, but I can't quite describe it. So far, its just me in this project, unless you count my guitar teacher, who plays bass on the demo, but the music is all me. One day, Halo VIII or CellarDoor or The Manipulated Living or whatever else I decide to name this project, will come out of the womb to do what I hope I intend to do: Make people send me more goddamn money!! Change the way people think about music, much like my influences did.

Disclaimer: Uploading songs is becoming more of a pain in the ass than I thought. So far, I have one song demo recorded, and another song in the works, but I can't figure out how to get them into MP3 format. And quite frankly, I don't want anyone stealing my shit. If you can help me with this, please do. Until then, I'm uploading songs from bands that I like. Please note that I am not taking credit for the songs, I claim no ownership of them, and that the songs belong to whatever band recorded them. So please, dont sue.
