Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Chris Vik started the project “Synaecide” in 2006 following years as a guitarist in local metal bands and producing electronica under the radar. He is now releasing music in a broad range of electronic styles - from twisted dancefloor bangers to glitchy down-tempo beats and everything either side.
His latest EP release “Scientifica”, continues his trend of delivering diverse releases to the underground electronic music community and is available for free below.
In addition to his debut album “Manifestations” (2008), Synaecide’s music has also been featured on various netlabel compilations which are all available for free on the left.

I have to say that Scientifica II is freaking awesome track!!! Best track on the IDM EP easily! The female voices are stunning, and the guitar and synth lines are just amazing!
