There are Multitudes of people who love gospel music who desire a worship experience that touches the heart of God. It takes a sincere desire to passionately usher in the presence of God in a way that truly impacts lives. Syncere Praze has that ability. “ The word of God is the center of our ministry. God gives the heart a voice to sound its joy and calls it music. Music is instrumental in our worship and it helps us to connect with the Spirit of God and respond to the truth of His Word “ Our desire is to encourage the hearts of people to respond in faith to God’s love,” says Pastor Jaymes.
A mixture of expressive lyrics with heartwarming emotion, Syncere Praze reaches their audiences with a clear understanding of the gospel and a real aspiration to see lives changes by the touch of Jesus Christ.
The nucleus of the group is Jaymes Hodges. An ordained minister and pastor. Jaymes has been singing since the tender age of seven and since has ministered the gospel message in song and spoken word in churches and on stage for many years. Not only an accomplished singer, Jaymes is an emerging writer with much to say about life and the situations we face every day. He’s also a producer.
He is senior pastor at Eternal Life Family Worship Center in Norfolk Virginia. After a few years away from the music scene, Jaymes decided it was time to put together another album.
To accomplish this he enlisted the help of Tesa Jones, Dawn Piper, and Nicole Johnson.
All singing lead and back vocals on the new CD “Intimate Praise”. With diverse backgrounds each member of the group brings their own flavor and experience to the project.
Syncere Praze has two previous recordings to their credit. Walk By Faith, Soldier’s Song all of which are songs of faith and encouragement. Syncere Praze has shared the stage with such notables as Richard Smallwood, Phil Driscol, Wayman Tisdale, Neville Peters, and a host of notable artists.
They performed also at MEAC, SEVA sports conferences and college shows.
