[syndika:zero] is a dark electro band from Sacramento, California currently signed to Crunch Pod.
In late 2007, the first promos were distributed and [syndika:zero] soon began
garnering the attention of their contemporaries earning them an opportunity to perform at Blacksun Festival IV alongside such bands as Assemblage 23, Cesium 137, and Alter Der Ruine. In addition to the festival, a series of live
dates were added to the band's calendar, which included being added to several dates in support of Alter Der Ruine and W.A.S.T.E. during their United
States tour. Shortly after, the band accompanied Accessory and Dust is Noise on select dates of their 2008 West Coast US tour.
In March 2008, [syndika:zero] released their debut album, 'The Example', an album which was said to be “Solid throughout and shockingly brutal…” (www.regenmag.com, May 2008)
Shortly after the release of ’The Example’, the band began to garner label attention. This led to the signing of [syndika:zero] to Crunch Pod, home to such heavy hitters within the rhythmic noise / industrial scene as C/A/T, Caustic, Manufactura, and Alter Der Ruine.
In anticipation of the release of their label debut, ‘Blindness’, [syndika:zero] will be hitting the road in August 2009 in support of C/A/T on the ‘In Chaos We Trust’ tour.
[syndika:zero] is quickly proving to be a force with which to be reckoned, with an ever-evolving mix of aggressive music, poignant lyrics, and an energetic live show equal parts violence and passion.
