Sounds Like
I'm not trying to imitate any style. I just do my own thing. I am for sure influenced by 80's synthesizer music though. Listen and judge for yourself.
My name is Michel van Osenbruggen and I'm from the Netherlands. In 2005 I started composing and producing my own synthesizer music. I released three albums so far on the Groove Unlimited label.
Discography
OceanoGraphy - 2009 - October 17th!
This is my third album called 'OceanoGraphy'. My inspiration for this album came from the Earth's Oceans and the creatures living in them. While listening to this album you will be taken on a journey through the deep waters of our Oceans. You will travel together with whales, dolphins, sharks and sea turtles. This album is officially endorsed by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). A part of the revenue of this album will be donated to the WWF. I sampled a lot of sounds again myself as well above as under water.
The full CD holds 12 tracks and is 73 minutes long!!
AtmoSphere - 2008
This is my second album! My inspiration for this album came by the atmosphere around our beloved planet earth. The songs are inspired by the different layers of air around the world, the different cloud formations that are encountered in these layers and the sounds of different weather phenomena. You will travel through these layers of air starting on the surface of the earth and ending up in space :) I sampled a lot of sounds myself like thunder storms, rain, wind etc that started my inspiration for many of the songs that you will hear.
The full CD holds 12 tracks and is over 70 minutes long!!
AeroDynamics - 2007
This is my first ever album. I selected 'AeroDynamics' as the main theme and also the name for this album. During my involuntary military duty I served in the Dutch air force, where I was a mechanic on F-16 fighter planes. One of the classes I enjoyed a lot during my education was aerodynamics and since then I have been fascinated with the aerodynamic aspect of race cars and airplanes. All tracks on this album are about cars, planes or aerodynamic phenomena related to the theme.
The full CD holds 12 tracks and is over 68 minutes long!!
Future plans?
I will definitely produce more music. I'm currently working on a some new projects for next year. So don't worry. There will be more :)
In the future I would also love to do music for films or documentaries. So if you are in that business contact me if you are interested.
Comments very welcome but..........
I get questions sometimes why I don't approve all comments. In general I'm very happy with all comments everyone sends and I try to answer as much as possible, but I only place comments about my music on my page. I think that is what this page should be about. So please listen to my music and tell me what you think about it.
Michel, your friend request is my honour. Your spiritual and musical vibe and your ability to record these phenomenal sounds are truly a gift to us all. As a Medicine Teacher and Earth Life Loving Woman I am happy for how you bring so many of our friends and Earth Chiefs like Fire, Earth, Water, Air and the songs of our Animals into sound presence for us humans. I will gladly and consciously spend my money to buy your CD's. Thanx and Respect, Regina Koerten (Berlin)
